Living within half a mile of Pueblo Colorado’s high-desert reservoir made the park a constant presence in my life. For more than a decade it became a primary focus of my photographic work.
Moving through the park several times a week allowed me to observe its seasonal shifts and subtle hourly changes, and to come to know it through the interplay of light, weather, and landscape. Sharing that familiarity felt like a natural extension of the work.
